Information and rules

PlayStation All-Stars Champions League consists of Regular Season and Playoffs, about 1273-1872 matches at all.

General rules:

This is ''Everything goes'' kind of tourney, every supermove is allowed, none character is banned (even Kat), combos/bursts are allowed, kc:s are allowd, lag kc:s are allowed, cheats/glitches are allowed, infinite combos are allowed... Dirty gameplay is allowed too, taunting, t-bagging, bluffing... Only BIG lags and rage quits are NOT allowed!!!

Regular Season:

The goal of Regular Season is to get enough points in different maches, there are Round 1, Round 2 and group games. Regular Season consists of about 1208-1760 matches (+ maybe ranking matches)

In Round 1 every character fight against every character, games are ''best 2 of 3 matches'' with 3 stocks, first two matches are in both character's stages and if third match is necessary, it will be in ''practice medium 1'' (pm1) stage. If either of players win directly 2 matches, he/she will get 3 points (or 5 points if he/she win both matches 3-0, 6 kills, without dying), and loser get nothing, if the game goes to the third match, winner get 2 points and loser 1 point. In round 1 there are 552-828 matches.
Round 2 is almost similar but every match will be in pm1 stage. In both rounds there are 1104-1656 matches at all.

In group games every players divide into groups of three players. They will fight against each others 4 extra ''5 stock'' matches and one 1vs1vs1 match with items and 5 stocks. Every match in pm1. Team up (2vs1) and tactics are allowed. Winner of 1vs1 matches will get 3 points or 5 points if he/she five stock (5-0) opponent and loser get nothing, winner of 1vs1vs1 will get 4 points, second will get 2 points and loser nothing. Player who get most points of his group at al, will get 10 extra points, second will get 5 extra points and loser nothing again. Group games have 104 matches.

In the end of Regular Season there will be ranking list of points, if someone have as much points than some other player, then they will fight one extra ranking match in pm1 with 5 stocks and no points, winner of that will be above in the ranking list.

Playoffs:

The goal of Playoffs is to drop other players and advance, there are Playoffs qualifiers, Round of 16 (Eighth-finals), Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Bronze medal match and Finals. Every match will be played in pm1 except Finals where every second match will be played in Rival arena. Playoffs consists of 65-112 matches.

6 worst characters of 24 in Regular season (19-24 ranked) drop out of the tournament, 15-18 ranked players will get into playoffs qualifiers, 15. ranked player will fight ''best 2 of 3 matches'' against 18. ranked player with 5 stocks and 16. ranked player will fight against 17. ranked player with same rules. Winners of those will get into next round, eighth-finals and losers drop out. There are 4-6 matches in playoffs qualifiers.

In eighth-finals there are 16 players, 1. ranked player will fight against 16. ranked player, 2. ranked player will fight against 15. ranked player etc... Games are ''best 4 of 7 matches'' with 5 stocks. There are 32-56 matches. Best 8 players advance to the quarterfinals.

In quarterfinals there are 8 players, 1. ranked player will fight against 8. ranked player, 2. ranked player will fight against 7. ranked player etc... Same rules than in eighth-finals. There are 16-28 matches. Best 4 players advance to the semifinals.

In semifinals there are 4 players, 1. ranked player will fight against 4. ranked player and 2. ranked player will fight against 3. ranked player. Games are ''best 4 of 7 matches'' with 7 stocks. There are 8-14 matches. Winners advance to the Finals and losers moving to the Bronze medal match.

Bronze medal match is only one match with 10 stocks in pm1.

Finals are ''best 4 of 7 matches'' with 10 stocks. Matches 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be in the pm1 and matches 2, 4 and 6 will be in the Rival arena. Two best players fighting for the championship.
